Although this two-story house fronts the water on its actual location, its basic design is good for any location where the view is directed downward. Four levels inside the house adapt to the sloping site and allow for separation of activities of adults and children. Living and dining areas face the view. A wide overhang on the roof eliminates much of the sky glare. A glass wall facing the water helps to balance the light. The house was an award winner in an A.I.A.-Sunset Western Home Awards program.
