Welcome home pear and mayo salad recipe from 1958

1 can large pear halves

1/2-lb cottage cheese

tokay grapes

greens

1 cup mayo

1/4 cup canned pear juice

1tsp. grated orange rind

1/2 tsp. lemon juice

Fill pear halves with cottage cheese, arrange on greens and  garnish with seeded grape halves. Serve with creamy-smooth mayo mixed with pear juice, grated orange rind and lemon juice.
