Apricot coconut flowers recipe from 1960

1 1/2 cups dried apricots, ground

2 cups flake coconut

2/3 cup (1/2 15-oz. can) condensed milk

confectioner's sugar

gumdrops


Combine apricots and coconut. Add condensed milk and blend well. Shape into small balls about 1 1/2 inches in diameter and roll in sugar. Let stand until firm. Place each ball on one end of green toothpick. Place other end through gumdrop base. Take teo more toothpicks and put them through gumdrop candy leaves and arrange in base. MAkes around 24 flowers.
