If you are into mexican food, than this 1950 recipe is perfect for you. To make this you need:
1 box of lima beans
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 chicken boullion cube
2 tbsp. chopped green pepper
2 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 cups canned tomatoes
dash of pepper
dash of cayenne
Cook the big, buttery Birds Eye Fordhook Lima Beans , drain...saute green pepper and garlic in butter until pepper is tender, but not brown. Remove garlic. Add tomatoes, boullion cube and seasonings. Simmer 10 minutes. Then add the cooked lima beans and simmer 5 minutes longer.
