It's time for a spaghetti and meat balls recipe from the autumn of 1950. To create this classic fast-made meal you need:
3/4 cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
4 tbsp. oil or drippings
Lightly brown onion and garlic in hot oil. Then take:
1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. salt
Add salt to meat and mix lightly. Form into small balls and brown them in the pan with the oil. Then add:
1 can tomato sauce
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 cup water
2 tsp. worchestershire sauce
Cover the pan and simmer 40 minutes. Pour over hot spaghetti and sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese.
