For 1959 the Carl Koch Associates Arch. showcase a modern interpretation of a timeless classic - the Cape Cod. So today we can show you a beautiful  "New Cape Cod" two level house for an uneven terrain. This specific house showcased here was the property of Mr. and Mrs. Holbrook Davis.

A high beamed ceiling makes the living room seem light and open. Storage divider keeps this room private from the front door and entry court. The Living room overlooks the rear yard and an inlet of the Atlantic beyond. Roof overhang shields the gable glass from the sun; an unusual outrigger grid shades lower windows. Built-in bookcase forms a low sill.

The rear and side of this house share the view - which could be a lake, woods or just a suburban garden. The house is divided: children below, parents and guests above.
