Plan no. C-1920

There is the timeless beauty of the Cape Cod styling which will look well in any surroundings, there is a floor plan which gives a big living area without waste space, and the entire house has been designed to use lumber in standard lengths to eliminate waste. On the first floor there is a large living room which has a big window facing on the front of the house, and a coat closet next to the front door for the convenience of guests. At the rear of the living room there is a dining room which can be arranged to serve as an extension of the living room for entertainment purposes. The windows of this area are big enough to provide plenty of light to the kitchen as well, where an "L" shaped arrangement of facilities makes light work of all the kitchen chores. An outside entry in the kitchen saves a great many steps for all the members of the family. A centrally located hall leads to the two downstairs bedrooms and the bath, and in the hall there is a linen closet, and the stairs down to the full basement. The bath is conveniently located, and both bedrooms have gool corner windows which give maximum light and privacy. One of the advantages of this house is that the attic floor can be finished at a later date to provide additional bedroom space and a second full bath. The stairs to the second floor are located in the living room and go up to a hall where there are storage closets with sliding doors. Both bedrooms have dormer windows and windows on the side which provide cross-ventilation, and each bedroom has a large closet. At the side of the house is a carport which could double as a family picnic area or this space could be used to build a garage.

Overall Dimensions: 34'6" x 23'4", excluding garage.
