CAN YOU GUESS the width of this house? Chances are you will be off as much as thirty feet. The Fleetwing proper, without carport and porch, is only 26 feet wide. It could fit on the narrowest city lots which are commonly found. Yet by adding to it as per the illustration above, it takes on a "big house" look. With the carport and porch, it is twice the width.
Nothing is missing in this house, however. It has a living-dining room which measures twenty-five feet wide and has windows on three sides plus a distinctive corner fireplace. The kitchen is nineteen feet long and has its own outside entry, plus room for a dinette. There are three bedrooms-two in the rear of the house away from street noises and with attractive corner windows. The third bedroom can double as den. Storage space is generous.
