This home was built in an area where houses hew to a firm, Traditional line. There's no compromise of new with old, yet it doesn't war with Traditional surrounding, either. As it was being built, the house beguiled neighbors as roof beams bent upward and framing forecast something other than "another house." But upon completion, folks gave this Contemporary traditional warm welcome.
Butterfly roof distinctive but not brash flares gently toward street. Three bedrooms look streetward shielded from the flanking houses and sun. Formal balance and scale are characteristic of successful Contem-porary design. Rooms of good size are placed in an excellent traffic pattern setup.
