The Desert Villa - 1935. Plans provided

It's as modern as tomorrow, this little master-piece of brick and redwood. One look at the floor-plan reveals a layout that is lust about as simple as a home can be. The huge living-room takes up more than half the floor-space in the house. The bedroom is no more than a place to sleep and dress, but look at that big wardrobe closet! — you can dress pretty conveniently with such easy access to all your clothes. The bath is snug — why waste space in a bath? — while the kitchen has plenty of space for efficient home management. That beautifully-proportioned patio wall assures privacy in spite of all the glass in the living-room and bedroom.
