1935 Hodgson Cottage #3711 on the coast of Maine. Plans and interior photos provided.
Ernest F. Hodgson was the father of prefabricated houses. He started with a small factory manufacturing tool-houses, poultry-houses, dog-houses, and other similar items. Then came the Hodgson Camp Cottage - of only a single room. And soon there were Hodgson Summer Cottages. Starting with 1900 he began manufacturing garages. Followed soon by entire prefabricated houses.
This beautiful 1935 cottage #3711 was built on the rocky coast of Maine.
