1951 Maloney-Chambers plan LD-224

This home illustrates well the principle that beauty can be achieved through structural simplicity. The stone wall, which is a pleasant contrast to the redwood, is a structural part of the house, being exposed on both the interior and the exterior. The privacy from the street which the plan offers makes it especially desirable for an urban site. It is recommended for a street running north and south since the living room faces south to the garden at the side of the house.
