In addition to the usual living and dining space, the living unit of this house has a secluded study area. This is placed in back of the attractive semi-free-standing fireplace. A low wall extending from the fireplace divides the study from the rest of the room. It continues onto the outside of the house, forming a screen for the outside sitting area. Careful planning has cut the traffic lane to a minimum and allows easy access to either the front entrance or to either of the three bedrooms from the kitchen.
