Mounting a wing and a 190-hp. engine on top of a four-place car, Consolidated Vultee engineers turned out this experimental flying auto. With the wing detached, the 900-pound glass-fiber car has its qon 26 1/2-hp. engine for highway travel. The machine cracked up during tests.
