The distinctive character of this contemporary design makes it stand out among all others. Hall space has been kept at a minimum and yet the circulation through the house is excellent. A separate dining room is provided so the family room can be devoted entirely to family living. The kitchen contains adequate cabinet space as well as a built-in range and oven and washer and dryer space. The half bath is conveniently located. A basement is specified on the plans but can be omitted using the stairway space for the furnace and water heater and enclosing part of the screened porch for storage room. The large living room windows are partially shaded by the wide roof overhang and the open eggcrate joists.
