The house of architect Robert A. Little

In the early 50s, architect Robert A. Little designed a beautiful home for his family. A lovely MCM split-level with some spectacular interiors.

Communal world (image above) consists on living room (lower left), dining area upstairs with open kitchen at back. Under plaster fireplace hood in living room, Mrs. Little stokes fire. Robert Little, in blue shirt, sits with a friend outside the window. Serpentine wall with flower through at top is built of old brick.

A beautiful MCM design that fits perfectly on the small hill. The house connects to the carport and workshop wing (right) through a stone wall.

Boys' quarters, with Reeve at front, Sam at rear, show private bedrooms. Blue counter opens to kitchen, makes snack bar for boys.

Hall to adult world is flanked with large storage walls, shows brown and blue color scheme of interiors. Black spot on landing is Virginia, the dog.

Two-story living room has a vast glass wall which opens to terrace. Ancient clock makes coffee table, has outsized pulley lamp over it.
