A two-faced home designed by Verna Cook Salomonsky in 1938

This is a compact house with a basement and first floor. It was designed to fit the 40-foot lots from Detroit and Cleveland. It has two bedrooms, ample closet space, a well organized kitchen, lovely bay windows and a small porch.

The dining-rooms is separate, having direct access from both the living-room and the kitchen. The later also has a cosy breakfast nook. The excavated portion of the basement is divided in two: laundry and heater room and a very large storage. For the colors, the architect suggests: side walls, shutters and trim - white; the roof a natural weathered gray; the entrance door a striking tomato red.
