This ranch house design is full of some really wonderful ideas; it is completely livable in the basic plan, and there is room for future expansion as the needs and means of the family increase. Most of the work in the future can be accomplished on a "do-it-yourself" basis with a mini- mum of confusion and expense. In the basic plan there is a living room, kitchen, dining room, and two bedrooms. The living room has a bow window, fireplace with corner hearth and a folding door between it and the kitchen. There is a dinette corner in the kitchen as well as entry to the stairs to the basement. What is now an outside entry becomes a door to the family room later on. The dining room, with glass doors opening on the terrace area, is convenient to both kitchen and living room. To the right of the center hall there are two bedrooms; the one at the front has windows on two sides and two closets, the master bedroom in the plan has three double closets and three windows. The family bath has a double vanity sink and there is a linen closet close by. The plans for the future include a terrace with barbeque corner, a family room with snack bar and a two car garage. This ranch house makes a good investment now and in the future.
