All-America Homes 1959 - plan #74

An L-shaped house makes it possible for rooms to be fairly close together even when the place rambles. This house appears to be very spacious and, for all practical purposes, it is. Note how the children's rooms are apart from the owners' bedroom and adjoining room, used for guests or as a nursery. Linen cabinets below hall windows are 3 1/2 feet high. Ceiling follows the roof in bedroom No. 1. Sketches show living and family room ceilings being pitched. High windows in the living room have bookshelves beneath. The TV opens into the family room.
