All-America Homes 1959 - plan #104

Exterior walls are concrete blocks stucco veneered. Chimney and adjacent wall is brick, the former also exposed in the living room. Walk to main entrance is under the roof at left of carport, and along the front under a four-foot roof overhang. Roof is built-up tar and crushed white marble. All windows are large and open wide.

Note how rubber tile has been laid at entrance to living room for prac- ticality, and to make a small foyer. This is divided from the living room by fluted glass panels set between posts. A floor plant box enhances the effect, while a glass-paned door admits sunlight.

There are beams in the sloped ceiling, with V-joint boards in the level ceiling and in two sections of the living room wall. A window wall with corresponding door faces the terrace.

This attractive house has walls of stucco-veneered concrete blocks. The brick chimney is exposed in the living room. The sketch shows the different ceiling heights, with a level ceiling along the entry and in the kitchen and bath. All other ceilings slope to follow the roof.
Large windows with gliding sections, an attractive terrace with grill, and a good roof overhang are other features. A four-foot roof covers the walk from the carport.
This house has 1040 square feet of space, excluding the carport.
