This design represents an excellent example of the additional livable floor area that is achieved in the multi-level design when the basement is "lifted" out of the ground. The large family will have plenty of room to move around in this design. There are actually four levels. The lowest level, where the heating equipment is located, contains ample space for a work shop or dark room. Note the interest added to the front entrance as a result of its angular treatment. Why not make a game of listing additional features that appeal to you.
