Denise Lor shows why a TV vocalist's life is not a simple one | TV Guide Buffalo, 23-29 July 1955

For a girl-type TV singer, the ability to carry a tune is just a starter. Denise Lor, of CBS' Garry Moore Show, for instance, must furnish eye-appeal, take part in skits, dance, sell the sponsor's product, play musical instruments and laugh at the boss' jokes.
And that's not the limit of her versatility. After her seven-hour-plus workday, the blue-eyed brunette rushes home to play wife and mother to husband Jay Martin and sons Ronald, 7, and Dennis, 3.
