A 1956 home designed by Grainger Thomas and Baar

THE WORD FOR THIS HOUSE is sleek, as sleek as the 1956 automobile tucked away in the carport. Designed by Architects Grainger Thomas & Baar, this is a smaller three-bedroom home with an efficient plan, little waste space. The house was designed for a small family, having one large bedroom, two smaller ones planned for single twin beds. The one bathroom can serve the family well until the littler ones grow to the point where morning bathroom traffic becomes a problem.

Dining, kitchen and living room areas have an open plan that creates a feeling of spaciousness. The front entry is conveniently located to serve both the living  and work areas of the house, with an additional service entry from the carport through the family room.

The L shape lends itself particularly well to the patio play space.

 Area 1,270 sq. ft.
