This design is especially popular among young families. The first floor is a complete unit in itself—with living room, kitchen-dinette, one bedroom and bath. The second floor, designed for two additional bedrooms and bath, may be finished immediately, or later as the family grows. The exterior is a modern adaptation of the Cape Cod type, and features two nicely proportioned dormers for the second floor bedrooms.
