Manhattan was just a short hop from Newark and Pan Am's JFK Worldport on an Omniflight Westland 30, the queen of commuter helicopters. Spacious seating, stand-up headroom and even overhead luggage binds greeted Pan Am's First and Clipper Class passengers for the complimentary service. Omniflight ended the Pan Am service in 1988.
