The World's Most Experienced Airline operated an even dozen TriStars. The pictured N504PA, named "Clipper National Eagle", in honor of merged National Airlines, was the first delivered to PA. "504" was delivered to the Miami base on April 11, 1980 and entered service on May 1, 1980 on the New York-JFK to Caracas and San Juan route. The TriStars were phased out from the fleet in 1986 when the last six were sold to United on February 10, 1986. N504PA is captured on film just a few days after delivery as it glistens in the early morning Florida sun.
