Lucille Ball stunningly beautiful in two photos for MGM - 1945

Everybody knows and loves Lucille Ball. She was a very talented and expressive comedic actress. But a lot of people forget that this beautiful woman with big blue eyes had a career long before the Lucy-themed tv series.

She started as an extra in the 1927 film "Tillie the toiler" and her first credited role was in 1934 in "Man of the night". By 1937 she became an important part of RKO's selection of actresses. In 1943 she moves to MGM and gets the leading role in "DuBarry was a lady".

One of her greatest pre Lucy roles was "Gloria Lyons" - the crippled night club singer from the fantastic 1942 drama - The Big Street.

Here she is, stunningly beautiful in two photos for MGM - 1945.
