1982 - Pan Am starts operating the helicopter service in Manhattan

In 1982 Pan Am teamed with Omniflight to provide complimentary helicopter service for its First and Clipper Class passengers. Flights linked Manhattan with the J.F.K. Worldport and Pan Am's Newark operations. The service was intially operated with six-passengers, two engine Bell 222 helicopters.
