This structure built along the Jericho Turnpike in Smithtown, Long Island, New York, is a great example of mid to late 1960s mcm architecture. By this time MCM was starting to fade away and you can clearly see it in this building. Simple rectangular lines, nothing spectacular like the early 1950s, simple letterign far from the flamboyant googie signs of the previous decade. Still this is an elegant building and the natural stone on the facade gives it personality.
