The Plasticor - a 1946 device that allowed boys to make toy soldiers at home

Constructed on the lines of the giant machines used by the molding industry, the Plasticor makes soldiers, horses, indians and similar toys or decorative objects. It is 12 inches high, weighs about 17 pounds, and has a heavy aluminum frame. Colored Tenite pellets are feb into the electrically heated loading chamber, where they are melted, and forced into a mold by a hand-operated plunger. The plastic hardens immediately into a finished toy.
