This house was designed for A. G. Ford, of Aurora, Ill. Built on a framework that resembles an open umbrella, it has no conventional doors, walls, ceilings, or windows. A cedar-shingle roof, resting on steel ribs, covers most of the house. On top is a glass dome. A carport completes the unusual architectural treatment.
