At the end of 1953, Emerson released the 21" TV with side panel controls. It was the first company to make a TV that had all the controls placed on the right side of the set. It had a special designed Dynapower Chassis to block out interference and it came with Miracle Tone Speakerm built-in antenna and UHF ready system. Emerson released no less than 44 models, prices starting at $149.95 (1953 price).
