June 1953 - 7 Hollywood stars in a fantastic photoshoot by Eliot Elisofon
Eliot Elisofon was one of the greatest documentary photographer and photojournalist. He started working for LIFE Magazine in 1937, his photo of General Patton was the first color cover of the magazine.
In june 1953, while he was on asignment at Hollywood he made a fantastic photoshoot to showcase his theory of the use of colors in photography and film not only to heighten realism but to play its own dramatic and psychological role. For this he choose 7 beautiful stars: Doris Day, Elizabeth Taylor, Rhonda Fleming, Audrey Hepburn, Joanne Gilbert, Cyd Charisse and Virginia Mayo.
