Twindow was a glass product made by Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company. The twindow insulated windows were a top quality product that was guaranteed for at least 20 years. Sadly the high cost of manufacturing made them loose the war with lesser and cheeper variants of insultated windows.
The technology used in the Twindow made the storm windows that you had to put on and take down in fall respective spring, obsolete.
The twindow came in 2 variants with metal edge and glass edge. The glass panels used in both variants were Pittsburgh Polished Plate Glass with a 1/2" of air between them. The windows were available in a total of 120 sizes.
