The Fisher building - an iconic Detroit landmark

This magnificent 30-story art-deco building was completed in 1928, bearing the signature of architect Albert Kahn. The building also contains the 2,089-seat Fisher Theatre. The facade is made out of limestone, granite, and several types of marble. The original owners were the Fisher Body, an automotive company that gave us the amazing cars of the 50s. The elevators and everything electric was provided by Westinghouse.
