A simple and cosy MCM home from 1959. Detailed plans provided

In this article i am going to present you a small and cosy MCM house designed by the architects Compton and Pierce, Cambridge, Massachusetts.

The house is made of 1 light weight framing members, 3x4 inch posts support the outside walls, 4x6 are used  along the center line, 2 exterior walls are 1/2 inch plywood, nailed directly to the studs. Battens cover joints. 3 economical tar-and-gravel roof works well on this low pitch. A wide overhang makes the house feel larger without adding very much to the building cost.
