From TM to RC let's take a look at 8 Kelvinator refrigerator models of 1950
Starting April 10th 1950 all Kelvinator dealers and resellers recieved 8 new refrigerator models: TM, FM, VM, RL, RK, RE, RB and RC.
From left to right (click on the image for full size view):
The 12 cu. ft. TM is a two-door Moist-Master. Separate freezer chest holds 80 lbs. Spacious moist-master cold compartment. Cold-Mist freshner, bushel-plus cold Super-Crisper.
Model FM an 11 cu. ft. with across the top frozen food chest that can hold up to 50 lbs. of packaged frozen fodd, ice cream, ice cubes. Adjustable shelves. Polystyrene meat tray. All-purpose handitray. Full-width cold super-crisper.
Model VM a 12 cu. ft. with big frozen food chest with 42 1/2 lbs. storage space in the size of a small cabinet. Polystyrene meat tray. All-purpose handitray. Adjustable shelves. Super-Crisper.
Now we move to the compact ones. The 8 cu. ft. with across the top frozen food chest, the RL has 50 lbs capacity of the food chest. Rockeraction ice trays, twin glass covered sliding crisper, polystyrene meat tray.
Another 8 cu. ft. with across the top frozen food chest is the RK. 40 lbs frozen food chest, 12-qt. sliding crisper, lift-out half shelf.
The 8.6 cu. ft. RE has 35 lb. frozen food chest, covered meat tray, sliding 12-qt crisper with glass cover.
The RB is a small 7 cu. ft. with a 25 pounds capacity freezer, molded glass tray for meat keeping, 13 qt. sliding porcelain crisper.
The smallest one is the RC, a 6 cu. ft. with 17 lb. high speed freezer, aluminium meat-chilling tray, full width 20 qt, sliding crisper.
