No. 6439—Adapted from Early American styling this seven-room house has an extremely modern and convenient floor plan. It is a house that can grow with the family’s needs, for the first floor contains a complete arrangement for a five-room house, making it possible to leave the second floor unfinished until the space is needed at some future time. The front-to-rear hallway system not only is convenient but also aids in eliminating needless traffic through the living and dining room. The area immediately behind the garage would be an ideal location for a terrace.

No. 6143—Stone veneer and stained vertical siding accent the beauty of the large picture window which provides such a pleasant front for this California bungalow. The floor plan is especially convenient for the vestibule and center hall efficiently confine traffic to a minimum area. The U-shaped kitchen has considerable cabinet space and a compact working arrangement. All closets are over-sized to permit convenient storage facilities. The wooden shingles are laid to create two shadow lines.

No. 6075—This spacious house, constructed of brick veneer, derives its imposing appearance from the massive chimney and the extremely large windows. If the family required a third bedroom the den could be closed from the vestibule and would serve that purpose excellently since it has a closet and is just across the hall from the bath. The casement window for the front bedroom is V-shaped to assure ideal ventilation. The kitchen contains space for the housewife’s “office” to be used in planning menus and in organizing household routine.

No. 6460—This California bungalow has been planned for construction with a full basement. The exterior material is horizontal siding except for the brick trim around the front door. The window treatment of the living room's front elevation is extended around to the side wall. Glass blocks are used to admit light to the master bedroom without sacrifice of privacy.

No. 6263—Overhanging eaves and eye-pleasing symmetrical exterior features make this an especially attractive brick-veneered home. The room arrangement has been planned virtually to eliminate the need for any hall space, and even that small space serves an added purpose since it provides access to the storage attic through a disappearing stairway. The secluded nook to the rear of the living room could become an ideal small library or study.

No. 6334—This attractive rambling type home is in a peacefully quiet and restful atmosphere. There are six rooms, a complete bath and two additional lavatories, and three special storage closets in addition to those in the bedrooms. The stairs lead to a large basement which is complete with heating, laundry, and recreation facilities. Construction is of shingles with a wooden shingle roof. Although the bay windows are of the casement type other windows are conventional double-hung sash.
