No. 6395—For those who demand the utmost in comfort and convenience in a moderate-sized functionally-designed suburban, this house would meet all the requirements. Made to appear quite large because of the contrast in exterior materials and the side-opening double garage, the basic house is a rather compact six-room structure that has incorporated in it a great many conveniences and inviting characteristics. Among them are: the planting boxes in the living and bedrooms; the two-compartment bath with the dressing table and lavatory in the hall; and the double fireplace with wood storage box. There is a partial basement.

No. 6793—The floor plan for this lovely design shows the living room one step below the other rooms. Also included in the excellent arrangement of rooms are two bedrooms, bath, ample closets, beautiful dining room with circle end, kitchen, maid’s room, lavatory, porch, terrace, and double garage. There is a full basement.

No. 6015—Enchanting is the word that best applies to this beautiful Spanish-styled stucco residence. The French doors in the rear of the living room open onto a sizeable enclosed porch which can be used as a game room. Because the entire bedroom and bath section can be closed off from the rest of the house the bedrooms would be pleasant and quiet even when the rest of the house was being used for entertaining.

No. 6415—Seldom does one find so pleasant a variety of exterior materials combined to produce such a distinctive appearance in a house of this size. The same unity of cut stone, 6-inch drop siding, and 16-inch frieze is used on all four elevations. Because the house has both a full dining room and a serving bar in the kitchen, the nook behind the kitchen could be developed for an automatic laundry use instead of a dinette. To provide for additional natural illumination glass blocks have been specified for the wall between the kitchen and living room. Eight closets assure ample storage space. There are two complete baths.

No. 6794—A beautiful combination of brick and siding is shown for the exterior of this exceptionally attractive design. The convenient floor plan shows a lovely living room, dining room, kitchen, two bed rooms, bath, four closets, linen and towel cabinets, and a garage. In the basement are heating, laundry, lavatory, recreation and storage rooms. The house is frame with brick veneer and siding combined for the exterior.

No. 6054—Distinctive beauty has been attained in the design of this six-room house by the unusual window treatment and through the use of orchard stone trim around the front bedroom and bath. The windows for this section are adequate for good ventilation since they are of the transom type, yet their placement assures an extra measure of privacy even if this house is located close to the street.
